“Open” is a significant teaching and learning practice at UBC. CTLT provides one-on-one and small group consultation services to help support the effective development and integration of open practices and educational resources with teaching, learning, and curriculum goals. These sessions provide hands-on support to help build capacity and understanding for the effective use of open learning technologies, the development of open collaboration practices, the understanding of open licensure and copyright, strategies for finding, evaluating and designing open educational resources, digital content sharing methods, and evidence-based open pedagogies.
